What You’ll Be Driving
Responsibilities Include:
- Producing accurate financial reports of the product, departmental and organization and adhere to specific deadlines.
- Analyze, monitor and report on the company’s actual performance.
- Liaising with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance section, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Examine financial and legal documents (eg customer and vendor contract) to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles and to safeguard the interest of the organization.
- Work with shared service units within the group.
- Filing of quarterly GST, annual tax return, property tax and whole holding tax for international business.
- Work with the regulatory team for the future filling financial data with the IMDA.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and telecommunication industry.
- Proficient user of SAP and Microsoft software (word/excel).
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant will be considered a plus.
