About the Speakers

A consummate professional, Kangni has over 15 years of local and regional B2B marketing experience and has been in telecommunications for the past 8 years. Her focus has been on working with the Government sector as well as trade associations to enable SMEs to accelerate their digital journey with ICT adoption.

She currently spearheads the business development sector of SPTel to grow IoT and Edge cloud adoption and build an IoT ecosystem of like minded partners to provide holistic IoT solutioning for organisations.

Throughout her career, she has spoken regularly at industry engagements and tech events and is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Vincent Lau is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned technologist with diverse knowledge ranging from cloud computing and IoT technologies to photovoltaic and energy management systems. In 2017, Vincent co-founded his third venture Pylon City, to focus on making cities greener, smarter and more energy efficient. The company spent a year in research and development, and has partnered with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to trial Singapore’s first electric bike sharing service powered by its solar-powered charging station on campus. Pylon City was also most recently part of Cohort 3 of the Shell IdeaRefinery Programme.

As Director for ICM & Digitalisation in Enterprise Singapore, Mr Lee Yee Fung oversees the Info-comm Technology & Media sector, working closely with Singapore-based companies within the sector to facilitate their growth both in acquiring capabilities as well as in uncovering new demand markets. Concurrently, he leads broad-based digitalisation initiatives that help SMEs build stronger digital capabilities and participate in the digital economy.

International Enterprise(IE) Singapore and SPRING came together on 1 April 2018 as a single agency to form Enterprise Singapore. As the government agency championing enterprise development, Enterprise Singapore works with committed companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. The agency also supports the growth of Singapore as a hub for global trading and start-ups. As the national standards and accreditation body, Enterprise Singapore continues to build trust in Singapore’s products and services through quality and standards.

Prior to this portfolio, Mr Lee was Director for the Lifestyle Business Group in IE Singapore, overseeing lifestyle related sectors including apparel manufacturing, fashion retail, furniture, food manufacturing and food services, education, and healthcare services. Before leading the Lifestyle Business Group, Mr Lee was with the Southeast Asia Group, first as Assistant Director based in Singapore, and later as Regional Director, Indonesia, based in Jakarta.

Mr Lee holds a Bachelor (Honours) Degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore, and a Masters in Business Administration from Shanghai Jiaotong University.

His key focus is on wireless connectivity such as LPWAN (LoRaWAN). He has successfully delivered the course “LPWAN – Making it work” regularly to industries and is well received. He also engages actively with industries to understand their problems and needs in IoT deployment for market study and training needs.

Kok Hua is VP, IoT at ST Engineering where he is responsible for driving the IoT business. Kok Hua is an industry veteran with both technical and commercial experience in the delivery of solutions across the IoT, smart grid and security industries.

Kok Hua honed his technical skills early in his career at D’Crypt, a local cryptographic technology firm where he was a founding member. He spent more than a decade there working on various high-value security products and was its CTO before he decided to join the smart metering industry, one of the early IoT verticals. Over the years, Kok Hua has been involved in product design, product management, strategic partnership, P&L management and business development.
